Emoji Survivors Unblocked

Your gear does the shooting while you dodge emoji monsters, grab gems and build up for the 15-minute boss.

Emoji Survivors unblocked is a free action game set in an open arena, with crowds of emoji monsters pressing in on all sides. You never aim or shoot. Attacks happen automatically, so the whole game is about where you walk: away from danger, toward the gems, and around the swarm until your build gets strong enough to push back. Frank Force made it with the LittleJS engine, and the art uses the open Twemoji set.

How to Play Emoji Survivors

Start by choosing a hero and a stage. Each hero brings a different first weapon and a small stat twist:

  • Smiley starts with Dagger Slash and no bonuses, a good first pick.
  • Wizard starts with Fireball and 15% larger attack area.
  • Cat starts with Fish Orbit, moves 20% faster, but has 15% less health.
  • Bot starts with Chain Lightning and fires and throws 15% faster.
  • Vamp starts with Heart Drain, which heals you as it hits. Vamp unlocks after you survive ten minutes on any stage.

Every hero begins with 100 health before bonuses. Monsters you defeat leave blue gems behind. Fill the XP bar with them to gain a level. The action freezes and you get three offers, such as a brand-new weapon, a passive item, or an extra level for something you already carry. You can hold five weapons and five passives, and nothing goes past level 5.

Your First Few Minutes

The opening minute is calm. Ants, zombies and bats trickle in, and most die to one or two hits. Use this time to circle, pick up every gem, and take your first two or three level-ups. Adding a second weapon early usually beats stacking levels on your starter.

Around the half-minute mark, glowing elite enemies start to show up, and they get more common over the first three minutes. Red elites are fast, gold ones are tough, and purple ones hit hard. They drop three to five times the normal XP, so they are worth chasing once you can handle them.

Bosses and the 15-Minute Clock

The timer at the top shapes every run. Bosses arrive on a fixed schedule:

  1. Giant Bat at 3:00
  2. Big Zombie at 5:00
  3. Clown King at 8:00
  4. Evil Wizard at 10:00
  5. Mega Snake at 12:30

Each of these drops a gift chest and a pile of coins. When the clock hits 15:00, the stage sends its final boss: the Reaper on Meadow, the Ogre on Graveyard, the Kraken on Beach, the Frost Giant on Frozen and the Dragon on Volcano. The Reaper is the fastest of them, and the Dragon has the most health. Beat the final boss to win the run and open the next stage. Run out of health before then and the run ends.

Upgrades, Chests and Evolutions

Level-ups are where runs are won or lost. The menu gives you more control than it first looks:

  • Reroll costs 10 coins and gets 10 coins pricier each time you use it in the same level-up.
  • Banish costs 20 coins and removes one offer for the rest of the run.
  • Skip passes on all three and adds 20% of the next level’s XP instead.

There are nine base weapons and ten passives, and each base weapon has a partner passive. When the weapon is level 5 and you own its partner, the next boss chest evolves it. A few pairs: Fireball and Sneaker make Comet, Chain Lightning and Stopwatch make Thunderstorm, Fish Orbit and Rocket make Fish Storm, Ice Cube and Magnifier make Blizzard, and Pizza Toss and Flex make Spicy Pizza. If nothing is ready to evolve, a chest hands out random upgrades instead.

Once every slot is full and maxed, level-ups turn into Limit Breaks that add extra damage to a weapon you choose, or you can bank 10 coins.

Emoji Survivors Tips for Longer Runs

  1. Walk in wide circles. Enemies head straight for you, so circling pulls them into a long line that your weapons chew through.
  2. Plan one evolution early. Picking a weapon and its partner passive by the eight-minute mark means a boss chest can evolve it.
  3. Smash crates and barrels. Crates mostly drop coins, while the rarer barrels have a much better chance of a clover. A clover rolls a random buff, such as double damage for 8 seconds or a full heal.
  4. Pick up food when you are hurt, not when you are full. Burgers restore health, and the Snack passive makes each one heal more.
  5. Grab gems in sweeps instead of diving into the crowd for a single one. The Magnet passive widens your pickup range by 30% per level.
  6. Use banish on items that don’t fit your build, so later offers are more likely to complete an evolution.

Mistakes new players make: standing still while weapons fire, taking six different weapons at low level instead of leveling a few, and ignoring health passives like Heart until the Mega Snake shows up.

Shop Upgrades and Curse Mode

Coins carry over to a shop on the title screen with seven permanent boosts: Might, Vigor, Speed, Haste, Magnetism, Growth and Greed. Each goes up to level 5, and the cost rises from 50 coins to 250. These make the opening minutes of every later run a bit safer.

Your first win also opens Curse mode. Each curse level adds 50% to enemy health and speed, but you earn more XP and coins in return, which speeds up shop progress.

Playing on a Chromebook or Phone

You can play Emoji Survivors online in your browser with arrow keys or WASD, a gamepad, a mouse, or touch. On a Chromebook, the keyboard gives the most precise movement. On a phone, touch anywhere and drag. Landscape gives you a wider view of incoming enemies. Press Esc to pause at any time.

A winning run takes at least fifteen minutes, so this fits a longer free period better than a two-minute break. Your coins, unlocks and best time are stored in the browser, so clearing site data or switching devices starts you fresh.

Emoji Survivors questions

How do I attack in Emoji Survivors?

You don't press anything to attack. Each weapon triggers automatically on a timer, so you only steer. A few, such as the dagger and axe, aim the way you were last heading.

How do you win Emoji Survivors?

Stay alive until the timer reaches 15:00, then defeat the final boss that appears, such as the Reaper on Meadow. Beating it wins the run and unlocks the next stage.

How does a weapon evolve?

Get the weapon to level 5, own its partner passive, and then open a chest from one of the scheduled bosses. Dagger Slash plus Heart becomes Axe, and Bomb plus Magnet becomes Nuke.

Does Emoji Survivors save my progress?

Your browser remembers coins, shop upgrades, best time, stage unlocks and whether Vamp is available. Each new run still begins with fresh weapons and passives.

Can I play Emoji Survivors on a Chromebook or tablet?

Yes. It runs in the browser with the keyboard, a mouse, a gamepad or touch. On a touch screen a virtual stick pops up under your thumb, and the upgrade menus respond to taps.
