Tiny Track Racer - modifications to the original ================================================= Original: "Micro Racer" from LittleJS Arcade by Frank Force Repository: https://github.com/KilledByAPixel/LittleJSArcade Commit: ea73cf7357854c913798390603045fdcb1f472e7 License: MIT (see LICENSE). The LittleJS engine (dist/littlejs.release.js) is MIT licensed by Frank Force; its license text is in LICENSE-LittleJS-engine. The Box2D physics build (dist/box2d.wasm.js, dist/box2d.wasm.wasm) is covered by the zlib-style Box2D license reproduced in COPYRIGHT-LittleJS.txt. Both notice files were copied unchanged from https://github.com/KilledByAPixel/LittleJS (commit 4bfed064b2c2f4275f0ec4b001ee8cd01028e992). Changes made for this site: 1. Restructured the files so the game runs from one folder: games/microRacer.html -> index.html; the helper scripts it loads (templates/engineLoader.js, gameFx.js, menus.js), the engine build (dist/littlejs.release.js) and the Box2D build (dist/box2d.wasm.js + dist/box2d.wasm.wasm) are copied into this folder. Script paths in index.html changed from "../templates/" and "../dist/" to "templates/" and "dist/". 2. templates/engineLoader.js: the engine path changed from "../dist/" to "dist/", and the debug/min build options now point to the release build, because only the release build is shipped here. 3. Bug fix (index.html): the terrain constants were TERRAIN_ROAD = 1 and TERRAIN_SAND = 3, but the track painter only lets a higher value overwrite a lower one ("ROAD > EDGE > SAND" per the code comment). As a result the whole track was painted and driven as sand. The two values are swapped (ROAD = 3, SAND = 1) so the asphalt road and its edge now appear and use their intended speeds. 4. Bug fix (index.html): cars start behind the finish line, so the first crossing right after the start counted as a completed lap and a race was really two laps. Car.lap now starts at -1 and the HUD lap number is clamped to 1..3, so a race is three full laps. 5. Line endings of the edited files (index.html, engineLoader.js) are LF. Each change in index.html is marked with an "embed fix" comment. Graphics and sounds are unchanged. All code except the third-party Box2D build is unminified.
